Elisabeth Utz
Elisabeth Utz studied environmental management in Vienna and is currently doing a master’s degree in Social Design - Art as Urban Innovation at the University of Applied Arts. Since 2020 she is working for the urban renewal office for the City of Vienna and is responsible for participation processes as well as interim uses.

Space of Waste
Space of Waste is a stop-motion portrait of trash rooms in Vienna. Frame by frame Rita Andrade, Lukas Lex and Elisabeth Utz dove into the topic of waste, looking at trash rooms as symbolic spaces, rich in intriguing social concepts. The tour starts with a screening and will afterwards explore some Viennese trash rooms, discussing the peculiarities and sharing our experiences of dealing with waste management.
