Bas Heessels (OKRA)
Bas Heessels studied Garden and Landscape Design at Van Hall Larenstein University of Applied Sciences in Velp. Since 2013, he has been a designer at OKRA landschapsarchitecten, having previously worked for Lodewijk Baljon Landscape Architects in Amsterdam and Hollandschap in Moerkapelle.

Planning: The Future of Space
Temporality – the question of the possible relations between past, present, and future – has always been inscribed in planning, both as a discipline of knowledge and as a field of action. How can we deal with the apparent discrepancies between long-term, large-scale planning projects and the necessity of reacting quickly to changes and challenges? What can a democratic, climate- and ressource-friendly way of engaging with urban space look like?
